全国整体芳香疗法协会（NAHA）建议使用安全稀释比。在0.5%到1%的婴儿3个月或以上，但大多数认证芳香疗法师会建议0.2%。下面是稀释EOs的方法：

1液体盎司 = 30毫升600滴每1液体盎司
稀释0.2%：
将百分比转换为小数：0.2÷=0.002乘积以小数点表示的每液体盎司（600）的滴数：每盎司600滴X 0.002=1.2滴（四舍五入到1滴），每1液盎司（30毫升）载油添加1滴
稀释0.5%：
将百分比换算为小数：0.5÷=0.005用小数表示每盎司（600）的滴数：每盎司600滴，每盎司0.005=3滴，每盎司（30毫升）载油量减少3滴。
